It's official. The third monday in February will now be a holiday for us Manitobans. Hooray. Apparently it's not named yet, elementary students get to have a say in it. Neat.

will it be the same weekend as the albertan feb holiday? i have no idea when our "family day" is and always have to be reminded that we get this random day off work. sweet deal though... i declare that we should have a long weekend each and every month. wouldn't that be grand?
You know what? I'm not sure. I'm assuming so, however i'm just not sure. Agreed. Long weekend every month (we're almost there) :)
